Our math series is called Everyday Math. We do lessons Monday - Thursday. Friday is called a Flex Day in which we complete any pages that we did not during the week. It is also used as a review for the students.
Currently we stopped our regular classes teaching the Everyday Math. We are focusing on preparing the students for the PSSA using Coach Books. Regular math classes will begin after the PSSA, March 24th.
Topics that need to be covered for the PSSA are as follows:
Mode, Median, Mean (Average), Place Value, Coordinates, Polygons, Division, Angles, Probability, Functions, Units, Area, Perimeter, Quadrilaterals, Edges, Faces, Vertices, Rays, Cumference
